“October Ab Challenge” Day 4 + New sport!

Hey guys, well I said I’d make another post with my Ab Challenge update, so here it is 🙂

“October Ab Challenge, Making Abs Fun!” Day 4.
The October Challenge is all about strengthening my abs with a variety of different, easy exercises that I can do at home. It will go for the duration of the month and every 2nd day I will complete one and post an update 🙂

Well today for the Ab Challenge, I did some Jillian Michaels mini-workouts! Check out these vids for an example:

They were hard out! I didn’t manage all the repetitions she advised, but I got quite a few done. I definitely recommend these. Especially the butt workout! GREAT STUFF!

I “attempted” this one:

But 10 seconds in I was stuffed. It was by far the hardest and it’s gonna be a while before I can do this one right. She means what she says when she says “SHREDDED BABY!”

Anyway, so as the title suggests, I’m taking up a new sport!
and that is…

KARATE! 😀

I’m so excited to start because seriously, for my entire life I’ve always wanted to do Karate, but I’ve never really done the research to find out how. Well today, I finally stopped procrastinating and phoned the lead instructor and next Tuesday I’m starting!

Gosh I’m so glad to finally be getting into it. I can’t wait to have the feeling of power. Like, knowing I could kick anyones ass if they tried to mess with me. I never ever would of course, but just that extra boost of self confidence. I can’t wait 🙂

By the way, I’m going away till Friday tomorrow, so no blog post tomorrow. But I’ll be back on Friday with a full recap of my trip 🙂

Hey there, my name's Jenny. I have a huge passion for cooking/baking, writing, yoga and photography.
