Attempting a Green Monster…

Well, this afternoon I emailed Angela from Oh She Glows about some natural ways to have healthy, happy skin.

I asked her if Green Monsters have any benefit and she said yes, they are fantastic. I explained about my not-so-successful first time with a Green Monster in which I was unable to finish it because of my utter disgust.

She emailed me back with a recipe for a fool-proof Green Monster. I was skeptical, but gave it a shot.

Here’s how it went:

Firstly I copied out the main points of the recipe I took off the Green Monster Movement website so I would know what to put etc.

Next, I went and picked two big leaves of Spinach from our vege garden.

Then I chopped up the Spinach and a banana and put it all in together, followed by 1.25 Cups of Vanilla Bliss Soy Milk.

The result/Verdict?

SUCCESS!! šŸ˜€

I was very happy and pleased to find that Angela was right, this was foolproof. Not only did it taste good, but it was drinkable! haha. Last time I made a green monster, the texture was so foul, I swallowed one mouthful and then gagged

This time round it was good! It actually kinda tasted like my Banana + Peanut Butter smoothies, only this one’s better for you šŸ™‚

Thank you so much Angela, you have converted me to a Green Monster fan! šŸ˜€

Sounds similar to my first GM experience! I was so surprised that it turned out great!
Yay that you liked it, great way to get that good ol’ spinach into you!
